The Group comprises the Institute of Health and Nursing, a leading provider of education and professional development and Healthcare Staffing Solutions which is a recognised provider of qualified permanent, casual and contract healthcare staff for many of Australia's leading public and private healthcare providers.

HCIG was founded in 2004 and offered its first Nursing Bridging program for 20 nurses. Today, HCIG has over 550 students enrolled across a range of healthcare training and professional development programs and provides staff to healthcare providers in Victoria and West Australia.
